21 May 2008, Rio Ferdinand (as captain) celebrates a Manchester United victory in the European Champions League final at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow. A first Champions League final in Russia and also the first time two English clubs met in the final. Chelsea were beaten 6-5 on penalties after a 1-1 draw after extra time. Christiano Ronaldo scored for Utd with Frank lampard equalising for Chelsea.
